Ekta Kapoor-Mohit Suri rope in Sidharth Malhotra for action film
After Varun Dhawan, Ekta Kapoor has once again roped in another star from SOTY STUDENT OF THE YEAR fame Sidharth Malhotra for her one of the most important films of this year.
Ekta Kapoor along with the director Mohit Suri has pulled a casting coup of sorts. For their action extravaganza, tentatively titled THE VILLIAN, they have cast Sidharth Malhotra, one of the hottest young actors in the B-Town today.
The film will show him in the young angry mode and will have him in out-and-out masala action zone. Sidharth Malhotra was the first choice of the filmmakers as they were looking for a rugged, good looking action star.
This also is a break out film for Mohit Suri who along with Emraan Hashmi formed the backbone of successful films in the Bhatt camp.
The makers are yet to decide on the actress who would be cast opposite Sidharth Malhotra. The film will go on floors after Sidharth finishes HASEE TO PHASEE where he is paired with Parineeti Chopra.
The film will also have a very strong villainous character.
