Vidyut Jamwal's trick helps COMMANDO shoot!
Rising star Vidyut Jamwal who grabbed eyeballs with a ripped and power packed performance in FORCE is all set to enthrall audiences in an upcoming action flick being titled COMMANDO-THE WAR WITHIN.
The action packed sequences have been shot in locales across the Northern Parts of India. For one of the scenes which was shot in Punjab it so happened that Vidyut had to hold the arm of the villain and flip him over, but due to the excessive heat and sweating it was getting difficult for Vidyut to get a grip over the villain.
Each time the shot was taken, his hand would slip due to the intense heat and despite his hard work and practice he couldn't deliver the required shot. That's when Vidyut paused and asked one of the production guys to get him some talcum powder which was later put on the villian's arm after which the shot was canned. The scene was pulled off perfectly, without any requirement of a retake as Vidyut could easily flip the guy. The entire team was delighted as they managed to save the day, the sun was about to set and the essence of this scene had to be captured in natural daylight!
Touted to be the biggest Bollywood action film, the film has some never-seen-before action stunts which has been done by Hollywood's ace action choreographer Franz Spielhaus who has to his credit films such DREDD, SAFE HOUSE, DISTRICT 9, CHRONICLE and the forthcoming Michael Bay TV series- 'Black Sails' amongst many others.
Produced by Reliance Entertainment and Sunshine Pictures Vipul Shah and Directed by Ad-Filmmaker turned director Dilip Ghosh COMMANDO-THE WAR WITHIN starring Vidyut Jamwal and Pooja Chopra is all set to release in the spring of 2013!
