Tom Hanks obsession: Typewriter collection!
Academy award winner Tom Hanks has revealed that his secret collection of typewriters has become such an obsession that he is ready to pay a fortune to ship them from all corners of the world.
The actor boasts a haul of more than 100 manual and portable typewriters, reports contactmusic.com.
"I collect them from the 1930s until they stopped making them," he said.
His hobby did not come cheap too.
"I bought a $5 typewriter from Australia that cost me $85 to ship," he said.
