Cumming wants 'X-Men' return

London: Actor Alan Cumming has expressed interest in starring in 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' after playing mutant Nightcrawler in 'X2', but suspects his character won't make a comeback.
The 47-year-old has expressed an interest in returning for the next installment of the Marvel films 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' but says he is still to get a call from the production house.
"I haven't gotten the call. Someone told me that Nightcrawler doesn't appear in the story but I don't know, I think they would have called by now," contactmusic quoted Cumming as saying.
"It was funny that film because I really like it and everyone really responded to Nightcrawler and enough time has elapsed that I would like to go back to it," he added.
