The festival, on October 7, will have two huge stages that will see the best DJs making the crowd groove to their beats. Besides Afrojack being the headliner, there will be German DJ Moguai and others Indian and international talents.

"The kind of music Afrojack belts out is in tune with the what Delhi and Noida enjoys. He is like a mix of David Guetta and Avicii. He is a great talent. We got him and then surrounded him with the right DJ talents," Shailendra Singh, Joint MD, Percept Ltd, told us.

Canadian prodigy Arnej will be setting the tone for the festival, while famous trance band from Israel Astral Projection will add a pinch of psychedelic.

India's renowned DJs Pearl, Arjun Waghale, Nishant, Ash Roy and Mash will also set the stage on fire whereas Nikhil Chinnappa will host as well as perform.

One of Asia's biggest music festivals, Sunburn has been happening annually in Goa since 2007, but now the extravaganza is moving towards other cities and countries.

"Four years we were in Goa only and recently we moved to Mumbai. The community is growing. Once you've reached the stage where a hundred thousand people come to you, then it's your responsibility to reach out to other people.

"We are not sure of the culture of festival-going in the North yet, so as of now we have kept it to a single day," Singh said.

Sunburn Noida 2012 will debut at the Unitech Golf Course and Country Club with the theme being "Carnival - Wear your Sunburn Look" to spur the crowd to come in their vibrant, colorful and weirdest best. Fashion designers Ritu Beri and Ashish Soni will be at the festival to pick out the best dressed party-goer at the venue.

This year Sunburn will be held in Goa again from December 27-29. Over the next 12 months the music carnival is branching out to Dubai, Jakarta and Singapore.
