Hilary Swank coming to India
Mumbai: Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank is all set for a trip to India to support a charity event this Sunday.
The 39-year-old 'Million Dollar Baby' star will join Sharon Stone and Bollywood star couple Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan for amfAR India's inaugural fundraising event, said a statement.
The gala event will also see a performance by American pop star Kesha.
Renowned fashion designers Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla, Tarun Tahiliani and Rohit Bal will also showcase their collections in a fashion show during the charity event.
A host of Indian celebrities, industrialists and the who's who are expected to attend the amfAR gala which will include a black-tie dinner and auction, similar to other black tie galas that take place all over the world.
The first amfAR event was held in 1993 during the Cannes Film Festival and was hosted by Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor to raise money for AIDS research.
