London: Gary Oldman feels that Ben Affleck is a wonderful actor and he does not need any advice to play Batman.

The 55-year-old actor, who portrayed police officer James Gordon in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, said Affleck will prove his best when he will take on the role of the caped crusader in the 'Man of Steel' sequel, reported Contactmusic.

When asked does he has any advise for the actor, who is going to play the iconic comic book character, Oldman said, "Advice for Ben Affleck? He doesn't need my advice! He's great."

Oldman believes there are many differences between the new movie and the old one which was directed by Paul Verhoeven.

"I saw the original when it came out. I haven't seen it since. It was more of a horror I remember - it was more violent and had more gore than ours," he added.
