Los Angeles: Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx returns to the studio to begin work on his new album and has recruited Kanye West to produce it.
The soundtrack is a follow-up to his 2010 album 'Best Night of My Life'.
The actor and musician, who recently starred in Quentin Tarantino's Oscar-nominated film 'Django Unchained', is lining up big names for the project.
"We are going to work on some music with Kanye, Will.i.am and a few other people," Bangshowbiz quoted Foxx as saying.
When quizzed on whether he will team up with Beyonce, he said: "I don't know about Beyonce, but she's great though."
The 45-year-old Oscar-winning actor has released four albums in the past, with 2005's 'Unpredictable' reaching number one on the U.S. charts.
Earlier Foxx had collaborated with Justin Timberlake, T.I. and Ne-Yo.
