Oliver Twist set for Hollywood remake

London: Oliver Twist, Charles Dickens famous children's tale, is all set for a big screen remake in Hollywood, but with a different storyline while keeping the original script intact.
The story will revolve around the pickpocket duo of Oliver Twist and Artful Dodger, but after they grew up and twenty years after their adventure in the Dickens' novel.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Sony Pictures has hired NBC scriptwriter Cole Haddon to write the script, though no details of casting and production have been released.
Oliver Twist has been adapted for viewing to several TV shows and movies, including the 1968 musical drama 'Oliver!' which won six Oscars , including one for Best Picture and one for Best Direction.
