Patrick Stewart to reprise 'X-Men' role

The 72-year-old actor, who has essayed the character in five 'X-Men' movies, revealed the news during a question and answer session at the 2012 Montreal Comic Convention, reports contactmusic.
Asked directly by a fan whether he would be starring in the role again, he replied: "I think there is every possibility."
Stewart then listed the names of his female co-stars, including Halle Berry and Anna Paquin, and added: "Yes, I'll be reprising."
But he was then cut-off by his son Daniel, who started listing his father's male co-stars Sir Ian McKellen and Hugh Jackman.
However, it is unclear if Stewart was naming these stars to hint they are likely to appear in future 'X-Men' movies.
Actor James McAvoy recently took on the role of Professor X (real name Professor Charles Xavier), in last year's 'X-Men: First Class' movie, and the sequel, 'X-Men: Days of Future Past', is expected to be based on a storyline from the famous comic of the same name.
The original two-issue comic features time travel, which could be a way of both the actors reprising the part of Professor X in the forthcoming film, due to be released in 2014.
McAvoy has already signed up for the role again, but there is no word on whether Stewart will be a part of it too.
