Tom Cruise to play Napoleon Solo in next film

London: Tom Cruise is in talks to play Napoleon Solo - the famous character of 1960s TV spy series 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E' - on the big-screen remake of the series, it has been revealed.
The original choice for the role was said to be George Clooney but Guy Ritchie , who is the director of the movie ruled out this possibility citing the back problem of the actor made him unfit for this physical role, the Sun reported.
The director had also sounded out Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.
