Why did Bieber, Gomez split?

Los Angeles: Celebrity couple Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, who dated for two years, parted ways as the latter reportedly had trust issues.
The news came after Bieber, 18, was spotted attending Broadway production of ‘The Lion King’ musical with Hungarian model Barbara Palvin, 19, on November 8. The duo met the previous day at the Victoria's Secret fashion show.
Gomez and Bieber maintained a high-profile relationship for almost two years before parting ways a week ago.
"With them being apart so much it got complicated. She had some trust issues. It's not easy, but the relationship needed to end," People magazine quoted a source as saying.
"She broke up with him about a week ago," the source added.
Gomez had posted a picture of Bieber and the model on her Twitter page on November 9 and captioned it as " ....." hinting to her fans that there was something wrong.
