Will forever be discovering dad's music: Norah

London: Norah Jones, who lost her father Pandit Ravi Shankar in December at the age of 92, said that she will forever be re-discovering his music.
The 'Come Away With Me' singer took the stage at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, four days after accepting her father's posthumous Grammy Award, the Daily Mail reported.
The 33-year-old singer-songwriter took the stage in a demure blue cotton dress and crooned her hits as fans packed into the venue.
Ravi Shankar passed away on December 11, five days after undergoing a heart-valve replacement surgery.
The 92-year-old sitar master, Indian music promoter and friend to The Beatles got the call a few days before he passed away - he would be honoured at The Recording Academy's Special Merit Awards celebration, where he was to receive a lifetime achievement award.
Jones said before accepting the honour for her father at the Grammys on Saturday that call meant everything to her family.
"I was very excited to hear about the lifetime achievement award a week before my dad passed away, one day before he went into surgery. He knew about it and was very happy, and also that he and my sister, Anoushka, were both nominated in the same category for a Grammy (this year) was a special thing as well," she wrote in an email before the ceremony.
"We all miss him and are very proud of him. I will forever be discovering and re-discovering his music from all walks of his long and amazing life," she wrote.
