Ameer wins FEFSI elections
While Ameer was elected as the president, G Siva was elected as secretary and Angamuthu Shanmugam as treasurer. As soon as the election results were declared, the new set of office bearers were greeted by members of various associations of Tamil film industry.
Speaking to reporters, Ameer said his topmost priority would be uplifting the livelihood of film workers. "They are ailing a lot due to various reasons. We will launch various initiatives to improve their conditions," he said.
FEFSI is one of the key influential bodies of Kollywood. As many as 22 associations of different trades in the industry come under FEFSI umbrella.
