Vijay turns the big 38!
He took part at a function organised by his fan club (Vijay Makkal Iyakkam) and distributed financial and other assistance to the needy.
Members of Vijay Makkal Iyakkam have made elaborate arrangements all over Tamil Nadu to celebrate the birthday of the matinee idol. Blood donation and organ donation camps have been arranged in association with hospitals and other welfare organisations.
On the professional front, the actor is busy shooting for 'Thupakki', a film directed by A R Murugadoss. Touted as an action entertainer, the movie is expected to hit the screens on Independence Day.
