The film, being directed by Radha Mohan, hit the floors in Chennai on Monday. Remember Radha Mohan and Prakashraj earlier dished out movies such as 'Mozhi', 'Abhiyum Naanum' and 'Payanam'.

'Gauravam', a bilingual to be made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu, marks the heroic debut of Allu Sirish, younger brother of top Telugu actor Allu Arjun, son of popular producer Allu Aravind, cousin of leading Tollywood star Ram Charan and nephew of big guns Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan.

Writing on micro blogging page, Sirish said, "Gouravam is a commercial script that has the power 2 engage & move the viewers. The perfect vehicle 2 launch me in Telugu & Tamil. So, I take nothing for granted. Been doing my homework & preparation. Hope to live up to whatever is expected of me. :)"
