Vikram and Jiiva: The coming together of the Davids
The movie tells the story of two Davids, one a fisherman, and another a musician. Each of them faces a conflict and how they overcome it forms the rest of the story, says the director, who earlier helmed Hindi film 'Shaitan'.
Vikram plays the role of a fisherman while Jeeva plays a musician. The film has been shot in two different cities. The story is told in a unique double narrative style laced with a lot of music, drama, action and humour, he adds.
The two stories are shot by two different cameramen. Rathnavel has done the fisherman story and Sreejal Shah is shooting the musician story. The film is produced by Getaway Films and Reliance.
