'Paradesi' experience was magical for Vedhika

"I still cannot believe that I was the 'chosen one' for 'Paradesi'. It will always be my most favourite project and an unforgettable journey working with a National Award winning director," Vedhika told us.
'Paradesi', an upcoming film directed by Bala of 'Sethu', 'Nandha' and 'Pithamagan' fame, also stars Adharvaa and Dhansika in the lead roles.
Vedhika said her biggest challenge was to live up to the expectations of the director.
"I wanted to give my best as he (Bala) believed I would suit the role and the character he had in mind for me. I didn't want to let him down. But he made it really easy as he knows how to extract the right kind of work from his artists," she said.
"The experience that an actor has working with Bala sir cannot be explained in words. It has to be experienced," she added.
An undergraduate in Business Administration from Cardiff University and Masters in Marketing from Manchester University, Vedhika enlisted in Kishore Namith Kapoor School to learn acting and dancing skills for a career in films.
When not acting, she likes to listen to music and connect with her well wishers on Twitter.
