Vishnuvardhan in 'Rajamanikyam' remake

'Rajamanikyam', one of the biggest hits in the career of Malayalam superstar Mammootty, is being remade into Kannada. The Kannada version will be directed by Dinesh Babu as 'Nane Bere, Enna Style Bere'.
Superstar Vishnuvardhan will reprise the lead role; Rajesh and Lekshmi Hedge are the other important actors.
'Rajamanikyam' (2005) directed by Anwar Rasheed, is a hilarious comedy. Mammootty plays an illiterate, but a shrewd and streetsmart buffalo trader, Bellary Raja, who returns to his native place to set right the problems in the family of his step father. Mammootty speaks a south Kerala dialect, no longer deemed fashionable, that causes much comedy and merriment.
