'Ullasa Utsaha’: Refreshing love story!

‘Ullasa Utsaha’, the Kannada remake of the Telugu blockbuster ‘Ullasanga Utsahanga’, stars Ganesh and Yamee Guptha from Chandigarh in lead roles (The original had Yasho Sagar and Sneha Ullal in the lead.) Yasho Sagar’s father B.P.Somu, who had produced the Telugu version, is also producing the Kannada version along with his brother B P Thyagaraj.

As the title itself suggests, this is a refreshing love story. The Telugu version had lived up to its title with a fresh screenplay and treatment. Director Karunakaran himself has penned the story and screenplay for the film.

Devaraj Palan, who has worked with the likes of Prabhakar, Omprakash Rao in various capacities like assistant and associate director, is wielding the megaphone for the first time in his career.

G V Prakash Kumar, nephew of music director A.R.Rahman is the music director. He had composed the music for the Telugu original as well.
