Ananthnag-Lakshmi again!
The hit pair of yesteryears, Ananthnag and Lakshmi, is back on screen again. They will play husband and wife in 'Sivakashi', which commenced shooting the otherday, on January 19. They appeared together last in D.Rajendra Babu's 'Amma', nearly a decade ago.
Ananthnag-Lakshmi team had given us memorable film such as 'Chandanada Gombe', 'Mududida Thaavare Aralithu', 'Naa Ninna Bidalaare', 'Benkiya Bale' and 'Ibbani Karagithu' in the 1980’s.
Though Ananthnag and Lakshmi had great chemistry onscreen, it seems they had squabbles on political grounds as both of them represented different political parties. Anyhow, they are no longer in active politics.
