In its first three days since release, the film has collected Rs 2.72 crore. This is the biggest ever opening for a Malayalam film in Kerala.
The film, made at a cost of Rs 25 crore by Gokulam Gopalan, stars Sarath Kumar, Manoj K Jayan, Suman and Padmapriya in important roles. The film has garnered good reviews already.The 50 per cent reduction in entertainment tax given by the Kerala State government has also helped, it seems.
