Vishnu watched the film in Cochin with the audience. He says such an encouraging response gives him the confidence to make more movies that suit the audience in Kerala.
"Am overjoyed since the film has clearly resonated with a large portion of the movie going population across all regions," said Vishnu.
Shaji, a cinema lover, who watched the first show, calls it a good family entertainer.
"I liked the comic timing as well as action role of Vishnu. Besides that, songs and the dance sequences are enjoyable," said Shaji.
Another film enthusiast Gopan also heaps praise at Vishnu's dance moves and comic timing.
"We don't see such dance moves out in our films here and his action sequences also look very powerful", said Gopan.
The film, which also stars Hansika Motwani, has got the biggest opening in Vishnu's hometown Chennai and is currently running in 600 screens worldwide. An additional 150 screens were added after the opening day.
Directed by G. Nageshwara Reddy, it has been shot in exotic locales of Switzerland and Malaysia, besides locations in South India. While the Telugu version of the film is titled 'Dhenikaina Ready', the dubbed Malayalam version is called 'Endhinum Ready'.
In Kerala, the film is being screened in 56 centres.
Vishnu made his Telugu movie debut with 'Vishnu' in 2003 and later went on to do films like 'Suryam', 'Political Rowdy', 'Asthram', 'Krishnarjuna' and 'Vastadu Naa Raju'.
