Rajnikanth, Karunanidhi condole Rajesh Khanna's demise
Tamil superstar Rajnikanth and DMK chief M Karunanidhi condole the death of yesteryear Hindi cinema superstar Rajesh Khanna, with the Tamil star describing him a 'legend'.
"My heartfelt condolences to legend Mr Rajesh Khanna. I pray almighty to rest his soul in peace," the veteran Tamil star said in a brief message.
Karunanidhi sent a telegram to the family of Khanna condoling the actor's death, a party release said.
The "original superstar" of Hindi cinema, Khanna, died at his home in Mumbai.
