Vijay’s ‘Thupakki’ is shaping up

In his forthcoming film 'Thupakki', Vijay plays a Mumbai-based man, whose name is Jagadeesh. "The story is about a sudden turn his life undergoes and how he emerges triumphant over challenges thrown at him," says A R Murugadoss, director of the film.

The filmmaker adds, "Kajal Agarwal plays a girl who too is from a Tamil family settled in Mumbai. We have shot the film in some of the busy locales of the business capital of the country. Vijay co-operated extremely well."

Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, 'Thupakki' has music by Harris Jayaraj. On completing the movie, Murugadoss will move on to do its Hindi remake, which will have Akshay Kumar in the lead role.

Interestingly, Vijay did a cameo appearence in Akshay's last week release 'Rowdy Rathore'. And now, Murugadoss says he is planning to request to do a similar appearance in the Hindi remake of 'Thupakki' too.
