We had earlier reported how Khanna had snubbed the show before because he allegedly wasn't comfortable playing contestant in a show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.
Media reports now claim that Khanna couldn't take the show earlier as the channel had refused his demand for his daily dose of alcohol. Reportedly, Rajesh Khanna is now willing to give up on his drinks till he is inside the house because, as he finds the tension and drama on the show far more intoxicating than the drinks. The actor is supposedly the highest paid contestant in the show's history.
We called a few sources but they claimed that the news isn't true. "We haven't received any official communication on Khanna's participation. Presently, the first wild card will be a common man. Auditions for the same are on and the chosen candidate is expected to step in a week or two."
