The two lads will be replacing radio jockeys Archana Jani and Karan Singh on the show.
Says Jani, "It was a great experience. Right from day one we were aware that we would be hosting only the first two episodes of the show. The channel wanted a novelty factor on the show so they zeroed down on the radio jockeys to host Mega Challenge. It was sudden development as just a day prior to the shoot we were finalised to play the hosts. We got a positive feedback from the friends from the same industry and fans all over. Though after retrospection, I feel I could have done a better job but that's the case with every single actor and host. Facing the camera is quite a task and you need time to build up the confidence. Having said that I look forward to more such opportunities."
When contacted, an excited Vipul stated, "It is a lifetime opportunity as the best of singers are competing in the show. The show is close to my heart as I had initiated my career as a host with Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Spotlight in 2008. I am on cloud nine. I am not a singer and so hosting a musical show of such grandeur is a huge task. I will try my best to fulfill the viewers' expectations."
