Bhopal prisoners keen to be Rahul’s "dulhaniya"

Confirming the news, Central Jail superintendent PD Somkunwar says, "It's true that eight of our women prisoners have expressed a desire to take part in Rahul dulhaniya le jayenge. They've read about the show through newspapers. We have forwarded their application to the head quarters. We can't disclose the names of these women."

Some of these women include convicts in murder and dowry cases while there's one who is facing trial for drug abuse. Mahajan too was jailed for drug abuse. The pleas of the under trials will be decided by the courts while that of the convicts will be looked upon by the headquarters.

Ever since jail officials have forwarded their application, the girls are stressing on their looks. A few of them have started to use lipsticks.

When contacted, producer Fazeela (SOL productions) said, "I've come to know about this through reports. If the inmates are really interested then they can apply like anyone else and go through the regular process."

Well, not too long ago Bhopal's Central Jail was home to the ravishing Monica Bedi, who was jailed in a fake passport case. Bedi's redeemed herself after getting out of jail. So, these women too deserve a chance for redemption.
