Kundra will be playing the lead role in Balaji's 'Bayttab Dil Ke Tamanna Hai'. Here he plays the character of Veeru - a role which was earlier offered to Manav Verma, nephew of Raj Babbar.
Confirming the news, creative head Vikas Goopta says, "Yes, Karan has been finalised to play the role of Veeru who will be paired opposite to both the sisters (Shyamali and Kanchan) but he'll fall for Kanchan"
When asked why Manav Verma was replaced Goopta replied, "Manav was not suiting with the changed storyline and it was at that time Karan came back from his vacation and he wanted to work with us."
Karan Kundra remained unavailable for comment.
