Zee Kannada's 'Kutumba Awards' on March 3, 2012
Zee Network's Kannada offering Zee Kannada, will host the first edition of its telly awards - 'Zee-Kutumba' in Bangalore on March 3, 2012.
The Zee Kutumba Awards are exclusively for serials, reality shows and other programmes on Zee Kannada.
With the awards, Zee Kannada hopes to draw attention to not just the individual characters, but also promote the importance of 'Kutumba' or family-ties. Award categories include Best Family, Best Mother-Father, Best Mother-Daughter, Best Pair, Best Villain pair, and an interesting list of other relationships. Reality shows will feature categories such as Best Anchor and Best Reality Show.
In an attempt to leverage Zee Kannada viewership, award categories like the 'Best Mother-in-Law - Daughter-in-Law' pair will be chosen based on SMSes.
The Zee Kannada's 'Kutumba Awards' will be telecast later on this month.
