Raageshwari speaks

Actor-turned-singer Raageshwari Loomba was last seen in the celebrity reality show 'Bigg Boss 5', where her demure avatar, in the mad house won her many fans, including actor Salman Khan.

And now it seems like the soft-spoken beauty is taking up philanthropy like Salman 'bhai' to the next level.

Raageshwari has apparently taken up the role of a motivational speaker for cancer patients. The actor, herself is a survivor of Bell's palsy, which left the left side of her face paralysed and a slur in her voice.

With determination and sheer willpower, she rehabilitated herself with help of physiotherapy, electrical stimulation and yoga, all within a year. "I was keen to do something for cancer patients. And hence, I have just signed up for being the spokesperson/ motivational speaker for the Mumbai Aids Control Society. We are launching 100 free testing clinics in Mumbai," says the singer elaborating that the clinics will offer free testing and more importantly, patient counseling.

"It's a huge initiative by the government," says Raageshwari.
