Aseem Trivedi wants to launch School of Activism

Colors
The thought of such an institution came to him during his stay in TV reality show ‘Bigg Boss 6’.
"I thought a lot about the new things I can do about the cause that I fight for. One is a School of Activism. I think it is important for people to learn organised forms of activism, RTI being one of them," Trivedi told IANS post his eviction from the show on Friday night.
He wants to open the first such school in his hometown, Kanpur, and hopes he can involve the country's youth.
"I want to tell people about how different platforms, including the online medium, can be effectively used for activism. I also want to talk about Gandhism," said Trivedi, who is associated with India Against Corruption (IAC) and founder of anti-corruption campaign Cartoons Against Corruption.
The 25-year-old, who is also a founder member of Save Your Voice, a movement against internet censorship in India, faced charges of sedition for drawing cartoons insulting Indian emblems and the constitution during Anna Hazare's anti-corruption movement in Mumbai in December 2011.
The charges have now been dropped. However, his presence on the show, ruffled certain Republican Party of India (RPI) activists, who staged agitation outside the office of channel Colors.
The channel is said to have been under pressure to expel Trivedi out of the show, but he doesn't care.
"I don't know. All I know is that I wanted to come out. My motive was to spread a message on anti-corruption and I had accomplished that. One month was enough time to do that. Now I have a lot of work to do," said Trivedi, who was locked inside the secluded house, without any connection with the outside world.
He says his stay on ‘Bigg Boss 6’ was pleasant.
