'Diya aur Baati Hum' completes 400 episodes

Mumbai: TV show ‘Diya aur Baati Hum’ has completed a successful run of 400 episodes. Its lead actress Deepika Singh says she is glad that the viewers have supported the show's concept.
"Hats off to the viewers who have been watching our show since 400 episodes, and have been appreciating our work. Whenever there is a new track, we get nervous about whether people will like it or not because we pick up social issues," Deepika said here at the celebration party.
"But the way you (viewers) follow these issues, we are confident that what we are doing is right. I am happy that we have got this support," she added.
'Diya aur Baati Hum' went on air on August 29, 2011 on Star Plus and stars Deepika in the title role of Sandhya. Anas Rashid plays her husband Sooraj Rathi.
