Neil Patrick Harris to write his memoirs
The three-time Emmy-winning actor plans to release his memoirs chronicling his life from his role in 'Doogie Howser' to 'How I Met Your Mother' to parenthood, reports The Wrap.
He is teaming up with bosses of Crown Archetype publishing house to release the autobiographic work in 2014.
Yet to be titled, the book will be "an imaginative non-fiction that delivers an interactive, nonlinear reading experience," Crown Archetype announced on Friday.
The memoirs will be released in print and digital formats across the US and Canada.
The 39-year-old has also revealed that he was inspired to put pen to paper after reading actress Tina Fey's new book.
He joked: "I'm excited to be writing a book of the observations and stories of my life. I read with great fondness Tina Fey's 'Bossypants', so my plan is just to reprint those exact stories but change the names to people that I knew. What editor would take issue with that?"
