New Delhi: TV show 'Parichay - Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka' will go off air soon. It will be replaced by a new soap which will be set against the background of Punjab.
The new untitled show, to be aired on Colors, is currently being shot at various locations in and around Punjab, including a few historical spots, said a statement from the channel.
'Parichay...', which has had a successful run of almost two years, is based on the story of a fallen hero - Kunal Chopra, essayed by seasoned actor Sameer Soni, and his struggle with his professional career and life.
The other cast members include Aruna Irani, Aarti Singh along with Keerti Nagpure, Prerna Wanwari and Mahesh Shetty.
The show generated interest since its inception due to its unusual storyline around a male protagonist.
