Playing Jigar gets boring at times: Vishal

Star Plus
Mumbai: He has been playing Jigar in 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' for so long that sometimes it gets boring for Vishal Singh, but at the same time he doesn't know what he would do after the show.
"After a point, it does get monotonous. You always want to try different things. I have been travelling a lot because of the show. And whenever you go out and meet people, you feel reassured," he told IANS.
Vishal earlier did shows like 'Kasamh Se' and 'Kuchh Is Tara', but his association with 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' has been "the longest".
"Jigar is a part of my life. I keep thinking what would I do when the show is not there? I have no idea what I will do! The show is very special and close to my heart," said the 27-year-old.
'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' went on air in May 2010 and the actor feels lucky to be part of the long running popular show about a joint Gujarati family.
"I don't think I have the right to say anything bad about the show. It has been doing really well. It has given me everything, so I am happy to be part of it," he said.
After playing the sweet and simple character of Jigar, Vishal wants to do a negative role.
"I have never tried a negative character. I would love to do that," he added.
Films are also on his to do list.
