Morrissey, former lead singer of The Smiths, has unveiled an an unlikely collaboration with Pamela Anderson, the blonde Baywatch star who famously posed naked for Playboy.

It’s all for a promotional video to promote his new album. The pair are both ardent animal rights campaigners so there’s the common ground. They appear in the short film, which was shot on the roof of the Capitol Tower in Los Angeles, taking in the view over Hollywood at sunset.

His new film is one of a series in which he has recited the lyrics to tracks from his forthcoming album World Peace is None of Your Business. The video features the words to the song 'Earth is the Loneliest Planet', from his forthcoming album, his first in five years.
